Negotiate

No offer is final. Many companies list a salary range when posting a job, but that doesn’t mean you have to accept their initial salary offer. Do some research. There is a wealth of resources out there to help you learn what people with your skill set, education level, and job title are making. Entering salary negotiations can be a little unnerving, so prepare by having a mock interview with a friend. Take this time to learn the right ways to voice your expectations and engage in conversation with the interviewer.
